Dancing for Democracy

I was at City Hall, seeing off the crew who will march from the bay to Sacramento. They are hoping to convert the hearts and minds of those in the inland counties, where Prop 8 was heavily supported in the polls. I don't get up to San Francisco as often as I'd like. I wish the occasion were happier, but it wasn't somber either. The Brass Liberation Orchestra played everyone across the street to the steps of the Supreme Court. Here's hoping the justices inside decide in favor of equality, in favor of families, and in favor of love.
